10 tips to avoid a heat stroke this summer
1. Keep the rooms in which you spend the most time well ventilated and cool.
2. Hydrate yourself well by consuming a non-sugary drink, such as plain lemon-juice with a pinch of salt.

3. Shower in cold water twice a day.
4. Choose light clothing over heavy or tight clothing.
5. Avoid direct exposure to the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
6. Always carry water with you and drink promptly when thirsty.

7. Cover your head with an umbrella or a hat when out in the sun.

8. Avoid exercising outdoors during the hottest hours of the day.
9. Avoid smoking and drinking, since they result in dehydration.
10. Also avoid other dehydrating foods such as meat, sugary drinks, and spicy and oily food.
