{"id":6548,"date":"2025-06-15T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-15T14:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.chchealthwatch.com\/blog\/?p=6548"},"modified":"2025-08-27T09:45:19","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T09:45:19","slug":"fathers-day-special-free-checkup-camp-at-valasaravakkam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chchealthwatch.com\/blog\/fathers-day-special-free-checkup-camp-at-valasaravakkam\/","title":{"rendered":"Father\u2019s Day Special: CHC Pharmacy spearheads \u2018people-first healthcare\u2019 with a second free medical camp for Chennai residents"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fathers, mothers, sons and daughters of Valasaravakkam woke up to an era of health awareness and proactive action on this non-lazy Sunday<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>Chennai, 15 June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bdcabccf22c6946ab8a9abf9f1413b02\" style=\"font-size:22px\">CHC Pharmacy, Chennai\u2019s first and only neighbourhood pharmacy, daily essentials store and family clinic, and a unit of Healthwatch Telediagnostics \u2013 a global leader in preemptive healthcare \u2013 is gratified at the success of a free medical camp on Sunday, 15 June, at its Valasaravakkam branch to commemorate Father\u2019s Day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">The camp, which offered free examination and review of ECG, blood pressure, blood glucose, bone density, nutrition and other vitals, received a tremendous response, as over 200 people, many elderly, walked in over the four hours for which the camp was operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">The participants, after a thorough onceover, were counseled on their health status, and an in-house doctor prescribed any drugs and supplements necessary, along with a health report card to help them track progress over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">Notably, this was the second such camp CHC Pharmacy has conducted. The previous one was at the West Mambalam branch on Republic Day this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">Dr (Hon) S Senthil Kandeepan, Founder-CEO, said, \u201cPeople are our priority, and public health is our mission. So we\u2019re always striving to facilitate a healthier society.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">He added that CHC Pharmacy was founded last year with a simple vision \u2013 \u2018people-first healthcare\u2019, the idea being to transform healthcare into an accessible, personalised and convenient experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">Anandakrishnan S, VP \u2013 Operations, remarked, \u201cKnowledge is power. Awareness of your current health condition is key to early intervention and corrective measures.
